All EPIRBs and PLBs sold by POSE Limited are pre-programmed with the UK country code and are therefore eligible for registration with the UK Beacon Registry. Whilst they will function anywhere around the world, the first authority to be contacted in an emergency situation would be the UK Coastguard Agency in Falmouth. Non UK residents will need the EPIRB/PLB to be re coded (programming fee applicable) to their country code and registered with their countries Beacon registry.
