Mk44 Stass Retention Kit

The Beaufort approved POSE STASS regulator attachment for the Mk44 lifejacket was developed in conjuction with RFD Beaufort after problems were identified with the existing STASS pocket. The regulator attachment connects the top of the STASS regulator to the life jacket via a pop stud, this pulls the regulator in behind the left hand stole and keeps it out of the way whilst operating the aircraft.

The attachment also includes a retractable lanyard, mouthpiece protector and nose clip and has been designed to be easily transferable between life jackets meaning it can easily be issued as personnal equipment. In case of use the removal of the STASS from its pocket automatically removes the mouthpiece protector and makes the nose clip readily available.
