The Helicopter Emergency Egress Device (HEED 3) is a compact, lightweight and reliable Category A device designed to increase survivability in case of an unintended submersion in water. Born out of a need to provide US Navy helicopter pilots with a small, handheld breathing device the Heed 3 has been saving lives since 1979. Ideal for all helicopters, fixed wing aircraft, float planes, watercraft and vehicles that operate around possible water emergencies. Over 400,000 systems sold worldwide in over 45 years. This 4500 series if the latest and lightest HEED 3 model.
